Wobble takes gold!

Great Britain wakes up today to find a new sporting star in the limelight. Jessica Wobble, of Stoke-on-Trent, has won gold at the World Running About A Bit Championships in Osaka, Japan.

Wobble, who has only been running about a bit for 18 months, beat off stiff competition from the legendary squad from Ecuador to win the event.

Delighted with her performance, she commented exclusively to The Rag: 'To win this gold medal is fantastic, more than I ever dreamed of. Running about a bit always seemed an odd thing to do but I got into it at university. I found it really took away the stresses of my studies in embalming and taxidermy. I never realised I'd be so good at it!'

Wobble went on to confirm that she plans to run about a bit full time but will continue to stuff badgers as a hobby.
